Organization provides
social and cultural exposure that some may not otherwise
experience—professional sporting events, statewide and possibly
national competitions. Using sports as a vessel for teaching and
reinforcement, our intent is to provide meaningful opportunities expounding
upon our T-R-A-I-L Philosophy.
We provide rotating leadership positions
(rotating team captains), accountability for actions, responsibility for decisions, integrity
and teamwork. The Texas Suns Select Board has unanimously
decided that it is our unconditional duty to be the “wind beneath the
wings” of our boys, fostering potential and enthusiasm. It
is our responsibility to provide individual growth opportunities to young
children regardless of their current personal or financial situations.
